I thought I’d be jet lagged but I am having a BALL. The show last night was strange for a couple reasons – but we got two encores so I figure they liked us….LOL!

Im back! I’ve been hard at work on this album for 3 years.  One year learning my lessons and the next two years writing about them.  I wanted to tell the truth without being bitter….and lemme tell you something, it took a lot of work to get there…LOL!  I can laugh at myself now but I was really in a lot of pain – but that is the beautiful thing about life.  Things get heavy and then they lighten up and good times come in an even more colorful variety of packages.  I truly feel the beauty of a simple friendship more than ever because I’ve lost friends and have had my heart broken.  I’ve learned that I can let life beat me down or I can accept my lessons and move on.  With the death of my naivet surrounding love, I have truly been introduced to my strength.  I am a stubborn woman who has to learn things for herself.  I now know for myself what my sister Rachelle Ferrell, my MOM and many people have taught through their mere presence…and that is, no matter what you go through, never stop believing in love.  I now KNOW without a shadow of a doubt, that life is a series of lessons and I pray to absorb mine and move on.
