India – Nominated again!

She has been nominated for two Music Video Production Association (MVPA) awards. One in the R&B category for “Video” and the other is in the Direction of a Female Artist category for “Ready For Love”. Let’s hope she wins an award!

Miss Arie is the honorary chair for the 14th Annual AIDS Walk in New Jersey, which is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2002. She is scheduled to tape public service announcements for the program.

In case you were one of the very few lucky people to see India.Arie perform live at the Hollywood House of Blues a couple of weeks ago, then this is probably old news to you. But for those of you that weren’t there,on March 21 you will get your chance to see her live, well not really but close enough, be sure to spread the word and tell all your friends.
